All necessary training will take place at the time of the procedure. The specialist nature of our products necessitates the presence of the company representative at initial procedures involving our products.
As you would expect, much of the Orthodynamics training is designed for surgeons and is specific to the products' usage and application. However, training also encompasses all relevant support staff including those who work in theatre and sterile supplies. This involves the following:
- CD-Rom / Video
- Presentation with the use of patient case studies
- Training in theatre for all staff - with regular updates as required
- Support in theatre for every specialist procedure, if required
- Support in theatre for staff new to the Orthodynamics products and instrumentation
- Resident weeks, particularly for the hemi-arthroplasty procedures
- Workshops using plastic bone models both on and off site
- Off-site training at other centres currently using the Orthodynamics products
