The Multi-Centre Stem is indicated for routine cement free procedures. The straight backed, collarless design enables mechanical seating of the stem under loading in the initial stages. The Hydroxyapatite coating promotes accelerated and enhanced bone adhesion as early as three to six weeks from implantation.

Clinical Indications:

A modular component indicated for Total Hip Replacement (THR) or Hemi-Arthroplasty procedures, facilitating conversion to THR through femoral head exchange

Multi-Centre Advantages:

• Tapered Junction to allow free choice of femoral heads from modular system, including total hip with cobalt chrome or ceramic options. In addition this stem can be used with a hemiarthroplasty or bi-articular head
• Broad proximal section (M-L) to ensure axial stability via evenly distributed hoop stresses

• Macro grooved faces tapered for interference proximal press fit as stem is impacted
